Biography
Bergentino Américo focuses his intervention in the areas of Foreign Investment and Exchange Control, Mergers and Acquisitions, Banking and Finance and Commercial and Corporate.
Before founding CA, Américo was a Senior Associate, for ten years, at one of the major law firms in the country, where his practice focused in matters of Foreign Investment and Exchange Control, M&A, Banking and Finance, Commercial and Corporate Law, Intellectual Property and Litigation.
He is an arbitrator registered at the Maputo Arbitration, Conciliation and Mediation Centre.
Bergentino Américo has been a lecturer, since 2012, at the Law School of the St. Thomas University in Mozambique and, since 2021, at the Pedagogical University of Maputo.
- Master’s in Civil Law at the Law School of Eduardo Mondlane University, in partnership with the Law School of the University of Lisbon, Portugal (ongoing);
